Oxand and infrastructure risk management
Upon creating Oxand in 2002, our aim was to offer our solution to an issue that arises in the industrial world: that of guaranteeing the performance, earning power and safety objectives of high-stake infrastructure operators.
Our risk management approach rapidly produces effective and tangible results for our clients, and has evolved with the scope and complexity of the projects that Oxand has studied. It is thanks to the «early adopters» of the Oxand method (EDF, Port du Havre, Total, Vinci Group) that we were able to rapidly expand.
Ever since, we have enhanced our skills, enriched our experience and invested in research in every sector where safety and sustainable development represent high stakes. This is the case in the transportation sector (road, fl uvial, maritime or railway) as well as in the various energy sectors that are currently of strategic importance nowadays: nuclear, of course, because it represents a solution for the future if it is managed appropriately, but also natural gas and hydroelectricity which, to this day, remains the principal “green” form of energy to be exploited the world over.
In addition, Oxand rapidly became involved in the large worldwide carbon capture and geological storage projects, as they appeared to us to be the way forward in signifi cantly limiting greenhouse gases and thereby combating the global warming that is affecting our planet.
Nowadays, our teams are involved in projects worldwide. Our contracts, which have expanded to include the management of large projects as well as the global management of business risks, are carried out with the absolute confi dentiality and independence that are required within our profession. In the exercise of this profession, we constantly give ourselves the means to progress and improve. Keeping up with and even leading technological innovation is intrinsic to Oxand’s approach, in order to anticipate the evolution of our clients’ needs and to better guide them into the 21st century.
This is what we have tried to convey in this document in a clear, informative and readily accessible manner. I hope it lives up to your expectations. However, it cannot replace live exchanges so please, do not hesitate to contact us.
