Robbert DE RIDDER is joining OXAND and will now be leading the Dutch Utrecht-based subsidiary. Robbert DE RIDDER will strengthen the development of OXAND’s activities in The Netherlands. He is a Dutch citizen, a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and has extensive experience in Asset Management. Robbert succeeds Edwin TIMMER, COO of OXAND, who temporarily managed the Dutch office.
For more than 20 years, Robbert has held senior management positions in leading contracting and consultancy firms involved in construction, infrastructure or offshore engineering in The Netherlands.
In his previous position, Robbert was Director of BAM Infra Asset Management, a major Dutch contractor and Dutch market leader on PPP. Prior to this, he held several management positions at VolkerWessels, Applied Ultrasonics and HBG. As Movares’ Western Europe Regional Manager (former Holland Railconsult), he implemented the consultancy engineering firm’s project to expand its business internationally.
Throughout his professional career, Robbert (52) has been strongly involved in innovation, complex DBFM and performance-based maintenance contracts. Moreover, he led BAM Infra Asset Management through the process of becoming the 1st Dutch Contractor to be ISO 55001 certified.
Robbert de Ridder states: “The average age of industrial installations and infrastructure is high. The financial sources to replace or maintain them are limited. Oxand helps asset owners in making the right decision and in managing their assets. I’m looking forward to contributing to this mission and to leading Oxand Netherlands in this challenging future”.
