Mar-18-2015 | Oxand opens its Academy to industrial asset managers
Sander Sieswerda has been appointed as Director of the new structure and will ensure its international development.
To answer its clients’ ever-greater demand for training programs, last week, Oxand launched its Academy. Oxand Academy is designed to provide technical training, support and guidance to any industrial asset manager on the world stage.
Until now, Oxand Academy was limited to in-house training: the organisation had been created to maintain the excellence level of the teams and favour the sharing of the knowledge Oxand gained since its creation in 2002.
To ensure the quick development of this new organisation dedicated to Oxand’s clients, Sander Sieswerda has been appointed to take charge of its organisation and will fully devote himself to it; he thereby leaves his position as Managing Director of Oxand in the Netherlands.
Edwin Timmer, the Group’s current COO, is taking over, in the interim, the position of Director of the Dutch subsidiary (a position that he is familiar with, since he held it for several years). He is also leading the internally and externally open recruitment process of a new Director for Oxand Netherlands.
Sander Sieswerda, the current Managing Director of Oxand Academy, declared: “This new service we offer is a unique opportunity for both our clients and all industrial asset managers; we are indeed going to offer tailored solutions with very high added value, based on our experience and on the innovation deployed by our Simeo™ technology.”
