Jan-14-2015 | Iter Fidelis changed its name to Oxand
From January 1st 2015, our Dutch subsidiary Iter Fidelis has become officially Oxand. This name change contributes to simplifying and making our organisation clearer to both Iter Fidelis and Oxand’s clients.
Bruno GERARD, Oxand CEO and founder, explains: “We created Iter Fidelis in 2008 to respond to the specific needs of Dutch consortiums who wished to maximise prospects of obtaining tenders on major projects in the roads and waterways sector; and gain a high added value performance during construction and operation phases. Our Utrecht-based subsidiary developed an in-depth and well recognised expertise in this field.”
Edwin TIMMER, one of the group’s executive managers and Iter Fidelis co-founder, points out: “Today, our worldwide sustained development leads us to work on international cross-functional projects which require specific skills from our various subsidiaries, including Iter Fidelis of course. It is thus with the objective to standardise and bring consistency to our presentation and communication for our clients, that we have decided to change our trade name from Iter Fidelis to Oxand.”
Sander SIESWERDA, managing director and co-founder of Iter Fidelis, adds: “Beyond its symbolic value, this name change also embodies the fulfilment of our new positioning: the expertise we develop in The Netherlands is enhanced by a strong international scope. The advantages for our clients are obvious: a combined experience and shared knowledge within Oxand in the energy, transport and public-private property sectors, as well as an optimisation of the innovative solutions Oxand offers with its proprietary software platform Simeo™. Our team in Utrecht is very motivated by this new situation and measures the added value of the Oxand Group contribution to its existing expertise.”
We are now very proud to wear Oxand’s colours!
