Nuclear Civil Engineering: publication of an international version of the ETC-C
The ETC-C (EPR Technical Code for Civil Works) is a collection of rules for the design and construction of the civil engineering structures of EPR (European Pressurized Reactor) nuclear power plants.
An English language version of this technical code has just been published by AFCEN, the French association responsible for drawing up technical and regulatory requirements in this regard.
EDF and AREVA are among its founding members. Commissioned by EDF’s CEIDRE unit, Oxand provided assistance to EDF and AFCEN for the drafting and quality control of this new version of the ETC-C. (2011)
