Dr. Bruno GÉRARD – Founder & President of Oxand: Bruno started his career as a research engineer and project manager for EDF R&D. He spent 10 years working on designing solutions to manage the ageing of civil engineering assets (nuclear and hydro power). Building on an extensive international experience, he founded Oxand in 2002. At the same time, Bruno continues his activities in Training and Research and he is regularly invited as a keynote speaker in international seminars. Among his main mentoring activities, he is a member of the French International Trade Ministry in Belgium. He is also part of the “Entreprendre in France” network which supports the SMEs/SMIs in their international development projects.
With a double PhD in civil engineering from Laval University, Canada, and “École Normale Supérieure” of Cachan, France, Bruno is a high level expert in his field. He has published over 50 scientific & technical papers.
ir. Edwin TIMMER, MSc – CEO of Oxand, associate: Edwin started his career in the construction of highways, airports and railway infrastructures at several contractors, mainly in The Netherlands. Within Dura Vermeer he developed new subsidiaries specialised in maintenance- and lifecycle management of infrastructure. Edwin is an expert in project-, asset- and performance management for major PPP projects. He joined Oxand in 2008 and became successively managing director of the Dutch subsidiary, COO of Oxand solutions worldwide and then CEO of the Oxand Group. Edwin is a graduate from Nyenrode Business University and University of Twente.
Dr. Olivier BERNARD – CTO, Partner: Olivier is co-founder of Oxand. After a professional experience in a civil engineering consulting firm, he entered MIT (USA) as a researcher. In 2002 he joined Bruno GERARD to take over the technical expertise of Oxand. Olivier is the author of several scientific and technical publications. In charge of innovation and industrialisation of Oxand’s solutions, he is also an expert in training and knowledge management. He is particularly interested in technological risk control and development of new technologies for optimisation of infrastructures and industrial facilities maintenance. Olivier has a PhD in civil engineering from “École Polytechnique Fédéral de Lausanne” in Switzerland.
Dr. Éric DELIAC – Executive Vice-President Energy and Global Development, Partner: Before joining Oxand in 2015, Eric held senior responsibility positions for more than 30 years in leading gas industry companies such as ELF, CGG and Halliburton. He also worked over a decade in the development of innovative companies. In particular he successfully grew Petris Technology, a US-based high technology company specialized in information management for the oil industry, in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Eric is a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and the Paris Ecole des Mines, and holds a PhD in Rock Physics.
Dr. Yann RAOULT – Managing Director of Oxand Southern Europe: Yann started his career working for Duke Energy in engineering & services. Then, he managed and developed several subsidiaries and departments of the European group BIHSE, recognised for its expertise in environmental engineering and industrial remediation. With 20 years of experience, Yann joined Oxand in 2014. He holds a PhD in quantitative hydrogeology and isotopic geochemistry from Paris VI University (France).
Ing. Robbert DE RIDDER – Managing Director of Oxand Northern Europe: Robbert has considerable experience in senior management positions, leading international contractors and consultancies in construction, infrastructure and offshore engineering in The Netherlands. He is an expert in developing Asset Management and ISO 55000 working methods. For years now, he has been strongly involved in innovations, complex DBFM and Performance Based Maintenance contracts. Robbert is a BSc. graduate Mechanical Engineering at the PolyTech Eindhoven (The Netherlands).
Antoine de TAURIAC – Chief Financial Officer (CFO), partner: Antoine is in charge of the financial, legal and organisational aspects for Oxand. He joined Oxand in 2007, after several years’ experience in SMEs and advisory firms. He is graduated in Business Management and Business Law.

Alain MADELIN – Managing partner and co-founder of Latour Capital: Former French minister for Industry and Finance, Alain has also been in charge of supervising nuclear safety of the nuclear facilities based in France.
Lady Barbara JUDGE: Lady Barbara Judge, who has held many senior executive roles, was Chairman of the UK Atomic Energy Authority.
She is Deputy Chairman of the Nuclear Reform Monitoring Committee of Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) and the head of its Task Force on Nuclear Safety.
Barbara supports Oxand’s strategy and advises the management on the value proposition of Oxand’s services.
Barbara also helps in networking with the world’s largest utilities and with tier 1 and 2 supply chain individuals in the nuclear industry.
Nick CAPLAN: With over twenty years in the services and technology sectors, Nick has management experience both in new ventures and in substantial corporate businesses and is well placed to support Oxand’s strategy for growth. Nick is also an independent chairman at the Faster Payments Scheme and MyCSP and has an executive role as CEO of a business accelerator. Previously, he was Chief Marketing Officer of Logica, the £3.3bn turnover IT services company.
